Building Virtual Worlds

The cornerstone of the first semester at the Entertainment Technology Center is a rapid prototyping course called Building Virtual Worlds. Teams of five (two artists, two programmers, and one sound designer) build games and interactive experiences over one to three-week periods. One or two students additionally serve as producers. Projects target a wide variety of hardware. At the end of the semester, certain projects are selected to be presented to guests at the Building Virtual Worlds Festival. Listed below are the projects to which I contributed throughout the course.

Round 0 - A Ghostly Encounter
Hardware: Mouse and keyboard
Players: 1
Completion time: 1 week
My role: This was an introductory project completed independently. I did all programming and created most sounds. Art assets include original work and pieces from the Asset Store.
